Camila Arroyo is a Brooklyn based performer, choreographer, and movement director from Mexico City.  

She holds a BA from Sarah Lawrence College and an MA in Performance Studies from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, which she completed as a Fundación Jumex de Arte Contemporáneo grant recipient. Camila has performed and shown her work in several venues such as Chez Bushwick, Center for Performance Research, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Peridance Capezio Center, El Gran Teatro de La Habana, Museo Jumex, El Teatro de la Ciudad de México,  Movement Research at Judson Church, New York Fashion Week, and the Festival Internacional de Videodanza de la CDMX, amongst others. She has worked with, and performed the works of choreographers such as Xavier Le Roy, Celia Rowlson-Hall, Amy Gardner, Matty Peacock, Gustavo Herrera, and Alvin Ailey. Camila has worked in arts management and production, as well as an artist, for institutions and brands such as Museo Jumex, Malin + Goetz, Barragán, Repetto, Derek Lam, Interscope Records, The Mexican Cultural Institute of New York, the Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics, Rosie Assoulin, and Drøme Magazine. She is currently a PhD candidate in the Performance Studies program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
